Guarapo's Cuban Cuisine

Tasty food (I got the pork lunch special), very nice staff, simple and attractive interior, reasonable prices. Restaurants and food like Guarapo's are one of the great things about Florida.

Good fresh tasty local Cuban food Moderately priced I recommend

Everything was delicious the only thing we were disappointed in was the "chicharrones" it was very dry. We couldn't eat it.The ropa vieja, chicken empanadas and the roasted chicken along with the sides were also great. Oh and lets not forget the coconut flan - delicious.

Delicious and fresh. Everything was hot, the waitress came frequently to refill and make sure we were okay. It was plenty food, I even had leftovers to take home for lunch the best day. Did order chicken empanadas and they were large, but didn't really care for those but everything else was good.

The grilled chicken with peppers and onions was good, I wish there was a little bit more Cuban flavor to the chicken. The vegetables were cooked just the way I like them. Grilled with still a little crisp to them. Be sure to ask for the Cuban hot sauce, it made a world of difference on the chicken. The beans and rice were good. The beans were flavor perfectly. I love fried plantains and they did not disappoint. Guarapo's has a cute outdoor sitting area, as well. I even noticed a food truck. I bet their Cuban sandwiches are good.

I have always favored this place. The staff is always friendly and the food is amazingly delicious. I got the palomilla and it was cooked perfectly.

I have had the beef and pork dishes here,both were delicious,the third time we went back the Empanads's were the bomb! The staff were on point,and food came out piping hot! A definite do over!

this is my family's favorite restaurant. It is so reasonably priced, the food is always fresh, you always get a choice of three sides and the service is outstanding. Nice outdoor area to eat as well

Very authentic Cuban food, excellent braised meats and the best plantains. Also as you may imagine, the staff and service was so polite and helpful that I had to compliment them on my way out.They do not serve liquor, so don’t look for mojitos, but every thing was so good, it did not matter. Located in a shopping mall, don’t let the exterior shy you away, inside is clean comfortable and very inviting. If you like Cuban food and culture, you will not be disappointed!

Stopped mid-meal to share a picture of one of the most delicious, hearty dishes I’ve ever had, Shrimp Creole. Don’t worry, I did order a second Margarita. The appetizer, (not pictured) was fried Yuca (Casava), which is served with a spectacular dipping sauce. I highly recommend this place.

I’d pay double and still be satisfied!How is this food so inexpensive? 3 empanadas for $5?!? They were crazy delicious too! Mom liked her shrimp Creole, I really liked my Chicken Fricassee, and the sides were awesome. If you want to try Cuban food this is a great option. Staff was friendly and decor was simple but not boring

Had lunch here with my family for the first time. Brenda, our server was wonderful. She was unbelievably patient and gave us a great learning experience. Freshly prepared food at such a spectacular price that even a 50% tip seemed barely adequate.

Absolutely blown away by the intense flavors of our dishes. Tender meat. Perfectly cooked plantains...honestly, I think the other more popular Cuban restaurants in the area taste bland and tough in comparison. Will definitely be coming back.

There is a charm and authenticity to the look of this restaurant however the food did not live up to that promise. The presentation as well as the flavor were lacking.

Very elegant and welcoming spot. They serve generous meals and for economical rates. I loved the meals a lot and the waiters were very amiable and chatty. Will definitely recommend this spot.

My first time here. First time eating Cuban food. My God this food is like heaven in my mouth lol place is clean..music was not too loud. Service was great. The roasted chicken was the best I have ever had in my life. I absolutely recommend this place. I love the platanos too!!!

Good food and friendly staff

Nice place overall and family friendly. They do have a kid’s menu... Service is good, food is great, nice music. We had milanesas, congri and for dessert tres leches and café. I loved the extra cheese on the milanesas. We’ve been there a couple of times and are definitely going back.

The pork roast and black beans are amazing!

Great food. I took my team from work. 19 of us and it was a hit! If you also have a big group, Talk with the manager first and make a reservation. They'll save the tables to accommodate you so your don't have to wait at all. The place is small, but cozy!

Went for my sister's graduation dinner and I love it. Great food, great service and they were very accommodating as our party of 8 expanded to 15. Had the garlic shrimp dish with yellow rice and black beans. Delicious! My kids also tore it up and they don't even like seafood.

The empanadas are excellent! The crust is perfect, and the filling is very flavorful. I would like to see then try a few more flavors besides just beef and chicken, but I love what they already have. The rost pork is very good, as is the Midnight sandwich (though I would get the Cuban instead since I like pickles). The place was clean and the staff was friendly. I live an hour away and I will still be going back when I can.

This place had the most wonderful customer service! We came in with 35 people after a family wedding the night before and they were so accommodating with us. The food was delicious and the service was beyond wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place.

Benn here several times, by myself, with another diner, and in a group. Service is prompt and efficient, food is delicious and flavorful, and prices are affordable. Best on the menu in my opinion is the Shrimp in Garlic Sauce! Recently had the shredded pork with black beans, yellow rice, and sweet plantains. Enough to take home for lunch the next day, all for $10.95! Do not miss this gem of a restaurant!

Stopped in today for a bite to eat. Everything was good until I got served a steak 🥩 with a piece of paper stuck to it. It was fried with the with steak. No good 👎‼️

Food was amazing! It’s the first time I’ve ever been to a restaurant where the black beans actually tasted like something my grandma would make.

Love this place.. food is always, fresh, delicious and good sized portions. And the staf is professional and friendly.My friend and I both had the cervice appetizer, and let me tell you it was awesome and large enough to be dinner.We paired ours,with a side of black beans and rice and took home leftovers of the side and cervice.This place is a must try.

Stopped in from Maryland for good Cuban food and this place did NOT disappoint. Great service and food recommendations. You won't be sorry!
